21st Century Skills Academy

A Real Life Education

21st Century Skills and Model United Nations Leadership Camp gives students ages 11–15 a fun, supportive place to build the life skills necessary for success: confidence, communication, collaboration, and leadership. Through interactive simulations and team challenges, students explore current events and global issues while learning the fundamentals of international diplomacy: speaking persuasively, negotiating solutions, and working respectfully with others. As AI becomes part of everyday life, students who can communicate well, read the room, and present their ideas with confidence will have a real advantage. Model UN and Debate provide direct opportunities for students to develop these essential 21st Century skills.

Camps

There are two one-week sessions. Each day, students will engage in activities designed to develop communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and leadership skills. The last day of camp features a fun and engaging UN General Assembly simulation in which students will serve as diplomats representing the interests of their assigned country to determine solutions to real world problems.
